Hi — I’m Kayce, founder and lead planner behind KR Occasions, a Hudson Valley and Catskills wedding planning company specializing in full-service wedding planning and wedding weekend experiences.

I started KR Occasions in 2013 after working across the wedding industry in bridal boutiques, venues, and catering, where I learned firsthand how weddings truly come together behind the scenes. That experience gave me a deep understanding of what it takes to turn a vision into a seamless celebration. My mission is simple: to make sure my clients can be incredible hosts while still getting to be guests at their own wedding.

Whether that means solving last-minute logistics, managing vendors, or literally moving 75 chairs uphill in heels (yes, really!), I’m all in. Think of me as your behind-the-scenes advocate—the one making sure everything goes to plan, even when things don’t.

Jennifer supports KR Occasions as our social media manager and wedding day assistant. While she’s new to the event industry professionally, she has always had a passion for planning meaningful celebrations.

She manages KR Occasions’ social media and assists with planning, vendor communication, and wedding day coordination to help everything run smoothly.
Her favorite moment at any wedding is the groom’s reaction when he sees his bride walking down the aisle—the kind of magic that inspires everything she does.

Emily independently runs weddings from start to finish. She and Kayce have known each other since high school, growing up in a small town where community, connection, and celebrating together were second nature.

With a lifelong love of hosting and an eye for the details that make events special, Emily brings calm leadership and thoughtful execution to every wedding day.
When she’s not coordinating vendors and timelines, she’s usually chasing after her two boys—and on a wedding day she especially loves the emotional first look and a packed dance floor later in the night.

After years of pursuing her passion for baking and pastry, Cassidy found her way into the wedding industry five years ago. She brings hands-on experience from every angle—from bartending to event management—and has helped guide weddings from concept through execution.

She thrives in the fast-paced energy of a wedding day and loves seeing each couple’s vision come to life. Her calm presence and adaptability make her an invaluable part of the KR Occasions team—alongside her life as a mom to two girls.
