Candid Getting Ready Memories

The morning began at a cozy Airbnb, where excitement and nerves mixed with laughter and love. The space felt personal and welcoming, setting the stage for a beautiful day ahead.

The bridal party set the tone for the day with matching pale blue striped pajama sets and cozy fuzzy slippers. Paulina kept it playful, popping champagne outside with her bridesmaids before slipping into her gown. Her bridal look was timeless yet modern: an A-line gown with a lace bodice, plunging neckline, and a full satin skirt. A cathedral-length veil, delicate diamond bracelet, and sparkling heart-shaped earrings completed her elegant style. Her hair was styled in a low updo with pearl and crystal pins. Her makeup highlighted soft blush tones and a natural pink lip.

One of the most unforgettable moments was Paulina’s first look with her father. As she gracefully walked down the staircase in her gown, it felt like something out of a movie. His emotional reaction was a mix of pride, joy, and love. It was a memory everyone in the room will likely never forget.

Meanwhile, Dan and his groomsmen prepped in classic black suits with suspenders and ties. His accessories included sleek patent leather shoes, custom Mets socks, and a sentimental cufflink. One of the sweetest moments of the morning was when his mother pinned on his boutonniere. A white ranunculus accented with peach and greenery that perfectly coordinating with Paulina’s bouquet of roses, peonies, and hydrangea.

A Traditional Catholic Ceremony at St. Gabriel The Archangel

The ceremony took place at St. Gabriel The Archangel Roman Catholic Church. A breathtaking church filled with light, gold accents, and a dramatic crucifix. The altar was framed with lush arrangements of white peonies, blush roses, blue delphiniums, and purple hydrangeas, while greenery and ivory ribbons lined the pews. A large wooden cross draped in white fabric stood behind the altar, adding symbolism and beauty.

Programs featuring a watercolor illustration of the church were handed to guests, a thoughtful custom detail. Bridesmaids walked down the aisle in dusty blue gowns, some strapless and some patterned with soft floral designs, while groomsmen looked sharp in classic black tuxedos. Paulina entered on her father’s arm, glowing in her satin ballgown and sweeping veil, holding a bouquet in shades of white, peach, and a touch of blue that matched the bridesmaids dresses.

The ceremony was filled with traditional Catholic elements but also with laughter and love. The first kiss at the altar, framed by the grand crucifix and pastel florals, was cinematic and unforgettable. Guests erupted in cheers as Paulina and Dan recessed down the aisle, officially husband and wife.

Portraits at City Winery Hudson Valley

After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their wedding party made their way to City Winery for portraits. The rustic brick walls, wine barrels, and industrial windows created the perfect backdrop for editorial-style photos.

Paulina and Dan also took time for portraits of just the two of them, and those images are nothing short of magical. Against the backdrop of the winery’s industrial charm, Paulina’s veil caught the golden hour light, adding a dreamy, romantic touch. One of the most memorable moments came when they posed with a vintage red Ford truck, a playful detail that added personality and nostalgia to their gallery.

Sunset portraits along the Hudson River gave them a chance to breathe, laugh, and soak in the moment. Between the sparkling string lights overhead and the city skyline in the distance, these portraits perfectly blended romance with the urban character of their wedding at City Winery Hudson Valley.

A Warm & Stylish Reception at City Winery Hudson Valley

City Winery Hudson Valley’s industrial-chic aesthetic was the perfect canvas for Paulina and Dan’s celebration. Exposed brick walls, wood beams, and glowing string lights created a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. Guests were welcomed with a wooden sign decorated in greenery and pastel florals, reading: “Welcome to our forever – Paulina & Dan – May 10, 2025.”

The couple’s seating chart was one of the most unique details of the evening: Polaroid-style photo cards of each guest displayed on a rustic wooden table between wine barrels. It was personal, creative, and something guests adored.

Inside, the round tables were dressed in ivory linens with cross-back wood chairs, pastel floral centerpieces, and glowing candles. The sweetheart table stood out with cascading florals and flickering candles, marked with a simple white “Mr. & Mrs.” sign. The wedding cake was a three-tier semi-naked design adorned with fresh florals and was displayed on a wine barrel, tying the winery theme into even the smallest details.

Other personal touches included a photo display of family wedding portraits, creating a legacy table that honored generations before them. Guests also received personalized bottle openers and traditional Italian confetti almonds as favors, a nod to heritage. Their custom signature drink (the “Loyola Lovestory” Lavender Lemon Martini) was a guest favorite and perfectly reflected their personality as a couple.

A Dance Floor to Remember at City Winery Hudson Valley

The reception fun kicked off with a chic faux greenery photobooth backdrop, accented by a glowing custom neon sign that quickly became a guest favorite for playful portraits. A faux greenery photo booth backdrop with a neon heart sign that read “P & D” added a modern, playful twist. When it came to entertainment, the live band brought the energy. With a saxophone, bass, keys, and guitar, the dance floor was never empty. String lights twinkled overhead as Paulina and Dan shared their first dance, and later, the crowd joined in with high-energy group dances that kept the party going all night.

A few guests (including the bride and groom themselves) even hopped up to sing with the band, adding a playful, personal touch to the evening.
